Rackwise Professional Services
Rackwise offers a range of implementation and consultative Professional Services designed to maximize the power of the Rackwise DCM solution and to empower our customers to be operationally self-sufficient.
The Rackwise DCM system is quick to implement and does not require extensive Professional Service engagements. The Professional Services offered by Rackwise are designed to assist customers with data center projects and to train the user base on the Rackwise DCM system and methodologies. We offer a standard implementation package as well as a la carte services.
Our Professional Services specialists are expert project managers with extensive expertise in data center implementations, operations and user training. We pride ourselves on rapid implementations and services that can be tailored to a customer’s individual needs.
Rackwise offers the following Professional Services for its customers:
Data Center Modeling
This is a Professional Service engagement for modeling new data centers or changes to data centers in Rackwise. This service is for customers who want expert assistance in getting a new or existing data center modeled in Rackwise as quickly and efficiently as possible. This service includes Data Reconciliation, Advanced Power modeling, Floorplan modeling and Implementation.
Data Reconciliation
Rackwise engineers will work with you to convert your existing rack and equipment data into the Rackwise import format. This service will produce a fully tested import sheet and the required additions to the Rackwise Equipment Library to accurately model your environment.
Advanced Power Modeling
This service will get the most out of the Advanced Power module for you. Rackwise engineers will work to accurately model your power environment in the Advanced Power module and provide training on the Advanced Power reports to fully utilize the software.
Rackwise Healthcheck
This service will bring your existing Rackwise implementation and models up to date with data, floorplans, rack elevations, training and all other items that will have Rackwise in a turnkey status for users. This service is intended to revitalize your Rackwise deployment and allow you to fully utilize the power of the Rackwise solution.
User Training
Group training for end users of the Rackwise software. The core training content is the same as Rackwise training received when the software was first implemented. The training content can be customized to your needs.
Advanced Training
This is a consultative service for existing users who want to become “experts” in Rackwise. We would work with you on processes for Rackwise in your company (design, management, etc.) and advise you on how to better use Rackwise in your environment. This service is intended for Rackwise administrative users.
Project Management
This service provides general project management for Rackwise related projects. Professional Rackwise project managers will oversee the project, provide their expert help, and ensure that the engagement is a success. Projects will be scoped and an SOW will be provided.
