RACKWISE® (OTC: RACK) (the “Company”), a leading developer of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software and service solutions, today announced it has expanded its existing alliance with Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS), with a strategic and exclusive four-year agreement to jointly market and sell DCIM solutions to U.S. federal public sector data center and information technology (IT) management organizations.

The agreement brings together Unisys’ expertise in public sector data centers and the capabilities of the premier DCIM Rackwise offering to enable federal public sector IT organizations to more easily meet cost containment, sustainability, and operational challenges inherent in increasingly complex data center environments.

Central to the agreement is Unisys’ exclusive right to sell and distribute Rackwise offerings, the most advanced and comprehensive suite of DCIM solutions currently available, into the domestic federal public sector market. Unisys, recognized for its award-winning delivery teams as well as its superior expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), is one of the largest public sector system integrators with decades of experience in managing federal, state and local government data centers.

“Demand for DCIM in the federal market is growing significantly, driven by the compounding complexity of IT requirements as well as a growing number of data center consolidations and executive orders mandating energy conservation,” said Kris Mathisen, Vice President, Infrastructure Optimization Services, Unisys Federal Systems. “The Rackwise agreement is an important step in allowing us to bring this important technology to the federal market.”

“The RACKWISE DCiM X offering delivers the inventory management in addition to space and power capacity planning tools to effectively manage the front-end of data center consolidations as well as the ongoing monitoring, validation and other back-end utilities to continuously optimize energy and space utilization upon completion,” added Guy Archbold, Chairman and CEO for Rackwise, Inc.

“Our exclusive four-year agreement with Unisys is highly significant for Rackwise on multiple levels,” concluded Mr.Archbold. “Within the public sector market, Unisys provides us the resources, presence and expertise to navigate and expedite the inherent complexities of the federal government procurement cycle while affording our customers seamless continuity throughout the sales and delivery process. On a macro level, our expanded alliance with Unisys further validates our leadership position among providers of data center infrastructure management solutions. We are extremely pleased and proud that with this strategic and exclusive four-year agreement, Unisys continues to offer our RACKWISE solutions for federal data center managers, information officers and other IT professionals as key components of their strategies to assure reliability, discover hidden capacity, and enable efficiency in managing data centers and IT infrastructure.”
